EJ '08 Convention Layout Op-Sigs and more Op-Sigs!

Linn Westcott, once described model railroad operations as one of the world’s most magnificent board games. As one of our guests at Empire Junction from September 11 through 14 in Syracuse, NY, you will not be disappointed. Along with over 50 layouts on tour to visit, there will be more than 70 opportunities to actually operate some of these fabulous layouts.

These layouts feature the full range of operating styles: local freights, through freights, mine runs, sweeper trains, unit auto racks, stack and TOFC trains passenger operations and local and yard switching. Whatever style of layout operation you enjoy, including TTO, CTC, track warrants or switch lists there will be something special to satisfy your interests. As an added bonus, over a dozen Central New York Division members are working towards their Master Model Railroader designation, with Chief Dispatcher being very popular, so these pikes operate like finely tuned Swiss watches.
